Welcome to the wild and wonderful world of orthopaedic surgery.Putra Vatakal
Understanding Orthopaedics – a friendly Orthopaedic Surgeon’s journal rose out of the mists of a world enveloped in fear of the COVID-19 virus.
My attempts to help my patients continue their muscle strengthening and flexibility regimes while locked down in their homes grew into a series of Facebook posts aimed to introduce the world of Orthopaedics to the uninitiated.
Along the way I found that my passion to reconstruct joints and fix fractures was closely rivalled by my desire to share my professional journey with you.
To guide you through the wilderness, where we face the wolves of pain and suffering, and strive to send them back into the shadows.
To bind dripping wounds and to heal sore bones; to give way to recovery and restoration.
Welcome to the savage and wonderful world of Orthopaedic Surgery.
